Now, let us introduce ourselves...

Since starting my career 15 years ago at a 4 Diamond resort & spa in the heart of the White Mountains, providing therapeutic bodywork at the highest level, I’ve desired to bring my expertise to a more private setting. Falling in love with the Durham/Middlefield area, I started my business there. In October 2024, after nearly 6 and half years of sharing office locations, Kate Wilstie of Swedish Bodyworks & I founded Lilac & Laurel Health and Wellness in Madison, CT. My goal is to provide exceptional massage therapy services catering to the overworked, overtired, over-stressed and to those to committed to treating their bodies with care. I want to be the person & the place you look forward to coming to for peace of mind & pain relief. Let me help you to feel and be the healthiest version of yourself, one massage at a time.

I became interested in massage therapy when my first career didn’t work out. I was completely burnt out and I noticed the connection between the stress I was feeling mentally and my physical being. Searching for a way to treat the body as a whole and my interest in how massage therapy can treat autoimmune diseases, lead me to massage therapy school. I graduated from Cortiva Institute in October 2023. As a massage therapist, my goal is to leave you feeling better than when you entered the room. I offer full body therapeutic massage to help ease stress and bring relaxation and balance to your body and mind. As well as more focused work to assist with specific problems.

Hi!

My name is Pamela White-Nieves, a licensed massage therapist of 5 years. I received my Massage Therapy certification from El Paso Community College in Texas. From there, I worked at the Samoset Resort located in Rockport, ME for a couple years before moving back home to Connecticut. My goal as a massage therapist is to help my clients achieve their self-care goals. Whether that be to minimize stress and anxiety by relaxing an overwhelmed nervous system or to help you feel comfortable by alleviating tension in the muscles. Some modalities I'm experienced in are Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy. Each massage experience can be unique to your personal goals. My belief is that massage can be beneficial to a person's mind, body and soul.

Beyond the table, I strive to educate my clients and community on the benefits of massage therapy. I am committed to my own personal growth and continuing education as a massage therapist.

I look forward to meeting you soon!

Pamela
